This Fall Is All About Fun Legwear

It was just last week that actress and designer Sarah Jessica Parker had a Cinderella moment in the city, sporting sparkling stilettos to offset her demure look. And earlier today, Parker did it again—twice, in fact—donning the Ursula peep-toe stylefrom her label, SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker, while out and about in New York City. But this time it wasn’t the sparkling shoes that lifted Parker’s ensemble into haute territory, but rather the addition of a single, very important, very runway-relevant underpinning: tights.

Parker punctuated her T-straps last week with fishnet ankle socks, a trend spied on both Kate Moss and the runway, but today, the actress was all about enhancing the feminine factor with a pair of textured tights featuring a cloud-like motif that highlighted the sparkle from her shoes. And then later this morning, Parker switched things up, offsetting a graphic jacket and black ruffle-hem Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini formal dresses with bubble-gum pink opaque tights—a runway-to-real-life transition inspired by no less than the Spring collections of Balenciaga, Céline, and Valentino.

Pregnant Rochelle Humes cradles her little black dress

She recently announced that she's six months pregnant with her second child.

And Rochelle Humes, 27, showed off her blossoming baby bump in style as she slipped into a little black dress for an appearance on Friday's Loose Women.

Radiating with a healthy glow as she headed into the ITV studios, The Saturdays singer looked effortlessly chic as she lovingly cradled her bump.

Bumping along nicely: Radiating with a healthy glow as she headed into the ITV studios, The Saturdays singer looked effortlessly chic as she lovingly cradled her bump

Clinging to her pregnancy curves, the prom dresses 2015 featured a halter neck design that showed off her toned arms.

Showcasing her lean legs, the garment culminated in a quirky fishtail hem falling just below the knees.

She finished off the look by styling her raven coloured tresses in a sleek centre parting that framed her flawless features and radiant complexion.

Whilst Rochelle seemed to love flaunting her pregnancy curves, she revealed that it was her husband, Marvin Humes, who was truly loving her sexy new figure.

Giving her first television interview since announcing their news, the What About Us hitmaker also confessed that Marvin is convinced they are expecting a boy this time.

She said: 'I'm carrying differently this time. It's more up here,' [pointing to her cleavage.] They've changed. He likes it more than I do.'

Arriving on the show in towering stilettos, she said: 'I'm nervous walking in heels. My balance is off.'

The Saturdays singer said that she had been suffering with terrible morning sickness in her first trimester.

She said: 'I felt horrendous and no one offers you the chair because they don't know. Now you can see the bump but I feel fine.'

The lovely lady, who also has a daughter, Alaia-Mai, three, said she was thrilled that she got to keep her second pregnancy a secret for six months.

She said: 'We wanted to keep it quiet for as long as possible. We told some close friends and they kept their mouth shut so I was impressed.'

Rochelle said she knew she had to divulge her secret when she was trying on dresses for Children In Need last week.

She said: 'My stylist said to me, "You will have to say something." as my bump was so visible.'

And while Marvin thinks he has the heads up on the gender of their unborn child, Rochelle said she doesn't want to know for sure.

'I've enjoyed it being a surprise this time,' she said. 'I know it sounds bad but I've enjoyed the fuss of my mum wondering what it will be.'

Psychic to the stars Jayne Wallace appeared on the show and placed her prediction for the sex of the baby in the envelope.

She has correctly guessed the gender of ex-Emmerdale star Verity Rushworth's baby, as well as Peter Andre's on the show in the past.

Asked if she wanted to see it, Rochelle said: 'Can you keep it? I've been to see Jaybe before and I know how good she is,' she said. 'She's going to be right.'

Jayne told her: 'Marvin is your soulmate and you'll be together for life, when you are old and grey.'

The couple announced they are expecting their second child in an adorable Instagram post recently.

And Marvin looked every inch the proud father-to-be as he gushed about his pregnant wife of four years Rochelle at Global's Make Some Noise charity bash.

And on Thursday night the radio presenter, 31, dropped the bombshell to Mailonline that the singer is just one week away from being six months pregnant.

Escada's New Resort Collection Pays Tribute in Fashion

Escada folds four decades of heritage into a modern resort collection that shimmers in shades of water, sun, and sand.

The collection includes coats and gowns in iridescent fabrics as well as kitten heels and metallic slides.

While many fashion houses come and go or change direction with each new in-house designer, Escada is approaching the grand age of forty without losing sight of what makes it special in the eyes of its faithful followers, while simultaneously offering “classic cool” to seduce younger fans. “In fashion, reaching 40 years is a great accomplishment,” says Escada’s fashion director, Daniel Wingate, of the label’s upcoming milestone. “It’s an honor that so many women still love the brand and turn to Escada to make them feel beautiful.” With that in mind, Escada has created a bright, vivacious resort collection laced with modern elements, but which, Wingate adds, translates the brand’s heritage for today.

Wingate turned to David Hockney’s celebrated pool paintings—those modernist emblems of 1960s California cool—for his initial inspiration. Describing the collection as a “wink to the bygone era of famous swans like Babe Paley and Jackie Kennedy and the glamorous days of Hollywood,” he embraced super-fresh colors with names like Melrose pink and Mimosa yellow, along with shades of blue (a particular obsession in Hockney’s aquatic series). Key pieces include pencil-striped coats with matching cheap prom dress and cigarette pants worn with fortune cookie-shaped tops tied at the waist with karate-style belts.

Wingate’s other inspiration, of course, is the “Escadettes”—the designer’s name for his loyal clients— who look to the brand to expand their wardrobes as they prepare to winter in toasty, sun-filled resorts. “They’re adding some wonderfully feminine but simple shapes in vivid, fresh colors, the head-to-toe tonal ones and the white and black grouping, along with the striped pieces that bring in all colors of the collection,” he says. “It’s also time to be more playful with your clothes.” To that end, he encourages his clientele to try a jumpsuit, belt the waist over a coat, and even experiment with a top worn back to front.

The collection, which makes stylish dressing practically foolproof, also borrows from the past—specifically, the custom-made mint cowl-neck gown that Kim Basinger wore when she won the Oscar for best supporting actress for L.A. Confidential in 1998. Wingate has adopted the flattering neckline for a Mimosa yellow dress as well as for hip-length, waist-skimming tops with deep backs that can be worn with conservative white slacks or chic ankle-length pencil pants. And peeking out from both pants and dresses are metallic slides in silver, gold, or bronze that Wingate calls “Frank Gehry buildings for the foot.”

Daniel Wingate, a 14-year veteran of Escada who has been fashion director since 2013, inflected the 2017 resort collection with mod touches, such as blacks and whites and pencil pants.

Although accessories are minimal, Escada has introduced its chic new ML40 handbag—available in eye-popping colors—to commemorate the company’s upcoming 40th birthday and recognize Escada’s founder, Margaretha Ley. While the 2017 resort collection has pieces reminiscent of a more unhurried age, when women seemed to have all the time in the world to get themselves together, it’s still as modern and polished as the woman who wears it today—one who needs to keep it stylish but without over-thinking her wardrobe.

Herve for the Holidays

Hot holiday looks from Herve Leger by Max Azria located inside BCBG on South Beach.

I love the holidays and everything that surrounds them: food, family, festivities and, of course, all the fabulous short prom dresses.

In fact, every Christmas/Hanukah, I relish choosing my favorite fashions for my annual holiday dress blog. Months prior, I shop my way through the Magic City, searching for the perfect fit and style.

Most of the time, I end up wearing something that helps convey where I am in life and what’s ahead for the new year. Yup, I’m definitely one of those women who believes your wardrobe says a lot about where you are in life.

For my last holiday dress blog, I tried harnessing my sexy side with Hot Miami Styles, in hopes of ringing in 2016 with a va-va-voom vibe.

I was aiming to feel alive again after a painful knee injury that required surgery and extensive physical therapy, not to mention a mini-relapse from a major neurological illness I suffered a few years ago. With that being said…

Now, I’m in a totally different place, with a more positive frame of mind and a healthier body. Since the bad mojo is behind me, my life has blossomed into something new, interesting and well, I haven’t figured it all out yet. I just know that I’m changing…

My fashion taste is, too. I’ve left behind a lot of the fuss, like my fluffy skirts and eccentric shirts (that I used to hide behind,) opting instead for the simple, sleek and sophisticated. That’s why “Herve for the Holidays” makes complete sense to me.

I’ve always been a big fan of Herve Leger by Max Azria and its famous bandage dress, but for years, I was intimated by the body-conscious appeal of the line, until I tried one on a few weeks ago.

Their “second skin” concept isn’t what I expected. Sure, it’s about highlighting the good, but it’s also about diminishing the bad. “Think of it as one big pair of Spanx,” said the person who talked me into trying one on for size (she knows who she is!)

The dresses are made of such quality material (a meaty blend of rayon, nylon and spandex,) it’s impossible not to have coy confidence when wearing one. What’s more, they’ve expanded their line to include styles with longer hems, more fashion-forward silhouettes and gorgeous textures.

The bandage prom dresses liverpool isn’t just a seasonal investment, it’s a killer classic that’ll complement your closet for years to come and that’s why “Herve for the Holidays” is one of my favorite things. Happy shopping, fashionistas and enjoy your turkey day!

5 drugstore beauty favorites

I've been using a few new drugstore beauty products these past few months and actually used most of them on my wedding day. Here are the products I'm loving right now:

photos:graduation dresses

L'Oréal Voluminous Superstar Mascara: I love that this mascara is a two-in-one with a primer. It seriously makes your lashes look long and voluminous and like you are wearing lash extensions!Maybelline Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer: I've tried several drugstore brow gels, but this one is by far my favorite. The wand actually fills in your brows with small fibers to make them look much thicker! I have this product in the soft brown color.L'Oréal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation:

Now that the cooler weather is setting in and my dry skin is getting even drier, I'm looking for a drugstore foundation that gives me good coverage and leaves it glowing. The Pro-Matte version of this foundation got a lot of love and good reviews. While I liked the product in general, it just looked dry and patchy on my skin. However, I'm absolutely loving the Pro-Glow! My skin looks more luminous and even, and the foundation feels so light on my face! I definitely recommend the foundation for normal-to-dry skin. I have the shade in 204.Maybelline Master Strobing Stick in Nude Glow: I've been loving this highlighter stick for a few months (I even used it on my wedding day!).

It is such an amazing highlighter and gives you a glow without being glittery or sparkly!Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Bronzer in Golden Days: As far as I know, this is only sold at Ulta, but at $6, it feels on par with some of the high-end bronzers at Sephora. This does have a slight shimmer to it, but that's why I bought it (and also used it on my wedding day). I used it on my cheekbones and temples over my matte contour and it gave me the perfect sun-kissed glow.Garnier SkinActive Ultra-Lift Miracle Wake-Up Cream: I've been using this gel serum every morning for awhile. It totally wakes my skin up and makes it feel fresh and hydrated! What drugstore beauty products are you loving? The post Current Drugstore Beauty Favorites appeared first on The Fabulous Life of A Natural Disaster.

American Music Awards Fashion: Who Dressed Worst?

There were some really great dressed celebrities at the American Music Awards in 2016.

Conversely, there was some terribly graduation dresses uk celebrities at the American Music Awards in 2016.

This is just a fact. Based on some opinions.

Scroll down and click around for a look at the worst dressed stars at this year's AMAs...

1. Bella Thorne

Bella Thorne

We thought the green was part of Bella Thorne's outfit. Turns out, it's just her hair. (She may have also forgotten to button up that top.)

2. Olivia Munn

Olivia Munn

Olivia Munn showed off too much cleavage and way too many flowers in this oddly constructed dress.

3. Ciara

We love the baby bump, Ciara. We don't love the turtleneck, combined with the high-low hem and drop-waist. Just too much going on.

4. Danica McKellar

Danica McKellar

Rompers are always a fun. choice. But not so much for an awards show. Sorry, Danica.

5. Cam

The artist's bright lemon dress wasn't really doing her any favors. It looks mismatched with bright blue eye shadow, doesn't it?

6. Karlie Kloss

Did Karlie Kloss just toss random pieces of fabric together for this graduation dress?

Lady Gaga's 2016 AMAs Performance Dress

We have really and truly entered a new phrase for Lady Gaga and her fashions. The outrageous and impractical meat and flying graduation dresses uk that she favored earlier in the decade have been replaced by surprisingly normal ensembles in this, the Joanne era. Gaga wore a chic white pantsuit that was possibly inspired by Hillary Clinton on the red carpet. Lady Gaga's 2016 AMAs performance outfit was totally different from her red carpet ensemble. But it was as quietly chic and, dare I say, "normal?" Gaga performed the ballad "Million Reasons" while barefoot and strumming a guitar rather than while dancing in heels. Her blonde locks tumbled in loose waves all the way down her front and she was decked out in a black leather dress that looked laser cut and studded. It was anything but outrageous but I still loved it.

Gaga's take on the leather LBD was surprisingly subtle and low-key. But she looked beautiful and the simplicity of her frock allowed the viewer to focus wholly on the song and her music.

It's not often that see Gaga ditch her towering, skyscraper platform heels in favor of bare feet, either. But she made it work.

Are you ready to see Gaga rock a leather LBD without any crazy accoutrements? Hell yes you are! Take a look.
